Albion Online is a sandbox MMORPG set in the medieval fantasy world of Albion. Whether playing a hardened fighter, a farmer, a merchant, or a master craftsman, in the player-driven gameworld nearly every weapon and building is created by players. Albion Online is developed by the Berlin-based studio
Sandbox Interactive. The game's initial launch was in July 2017, followed by a Steam release in 2018. In April 2019, the game went free-to-play, expanding its community to include hundreds of thousands of new players worldwide. In June 2021, Albion Online officially launched for iOS and Android devices, bringing a massive influx of new players and fulfilling one of the game's foremost goals: to become the world's first truly cross-platform MMORPG.
